These are my DIY and Semi-DIY projects

All of my items here are DIY and Semi-DIY. If you want more info on how I made it or where I got the materials, please just ask!

Invitations and RSVPs

Picture
I ordered my stationary from Vista Print and was able to pick a design I liked and then just worded it all how I chose. Due to my large count of invites needed (85) it was cheaper for me to just order them when they were on sale.

Using basic white cardstock and my printer I was able to make directions cards and hotel accommodation cards to place in my invitations with openoffice.org

Cake Topper

I ordered my letter from Crafty Eddy.  It arrived well packaged in less than two weeks.  I spray painted it silver and have started attaching Swarovski flat back crystals in Fuschia and Jet. I got 1 gross of each color in sizes 12ss and 16ss.

About two hours in, I am 1/3 done.
Picture
My work surface is a mailing box that has been cut open.  I am using E6000 glue with a paint brush to adhere the crystals.  I am using craft tweezers to place the crystals in the glue.

The final product took about 3 1/2 hours.

Sand Ceremony

I got these jars at Michael's for 99 cents and 4MM Swarovski crystals for 2.50. Simply affixed with tacky glue.

Card Box

Picture
This is the start of my card box. I am going to affixed the word 'cards!' on the middle tier in silver-outlined black letters. The piece on the left goes on the bottom, but it was still drying. (Finished product on the bottom) I am unsure if I should leave it as is or enhance it. Any ideas appreciated!

Programs

Picture
On the left is the craft sticks that I spray painted black.  The program itself is on the right.  It's white cardstock and will be folded in half and placed on the sticks.  I will have a hot pink bow on the top of the stick (right under the paper) and will embellish the monogram with a corner stamp with champagne gold ink.

Here is the finished product. The scrolls are stamped on and the ribbon is held on the back with a glue dot so it won't slip down. A little bit of tacky glue is in the knot of the bow to hold it together.
