We booked The Atrium in Norcross, GA. www.the-atrium.com

So far, all the ladies have been fantastic to work with. This venue along with 3 other are all owned and operated by Magic Moments. All their catering and ceremony/reception decor are done on-site. We are allowed to use our own vendors for the cake and bridal party floral though I think I will just use MM for my bridal party flowers for uniformity. A DOC is also included in the rental fee.

Timeless By Paula - Makeup

I have already done my trial with Paula and she's been great so far! She offers makeup day of and trial for the bride for $100. For $150 she does day of and trial with the bride and continues to do touchups until after all pics and ceremony are done!
After the wedding I will give a final grade.

Brush, the Mobile Salon - Makeup and Hair

I was originally going to use Brush for my hair and makeup but Michelle never arrived for my trial! I called her repeatedly and emailed her. By the end of the day (the trial was at noon) she FINALLY responded and did nothing but apologize and give excuses. She even had my trial down for the wrong day! I immediately canceled and suggest that no one do business with someone so unprofessional.

Hair by Cortney - Hair

Cortney can get very expensive and does have a price minimum. I was lucky enough to cut a deal with her since my wedding is in the evening she still has the ability for a second client for the morning. My trial is Saturday Sept 26th.

Publix Bakery - Cake

We've decided to cut corner by buying a cake from the local grocers. Publix has employees that specialize in specialty cakes like weddings. We don't have to order the cake until 6-8 weeks out so we will be doing our tasting early March.

Officiant

Matt and I are having his old youth pastor officiate our wedding. He only does weddings for those he knows. Sorry ladies, I'd highly recommend him otherwise!

Creative Occasions - Bridal Party Flowers

Due to the venue being so expensive, I am cutting costs by using a separate florist for my bridal party flowers. I contacted EVERY local florist from The Knot and this florist came in at the lowest cost, about $100-200 less than all other florists and $500 under my venue. I've only had one difficulty and that was that they messed up the quote, but were more than willing to redo it before I mailed my contract in.

Dora Baker Bridal Alterations - Alterations

Mrs. Baker has been FANTASTIC with my alterations. She will do alterations up to 2 weeks before the wedding! I would HIGHLY reccomend her. She is wonderfully affordable! She charged me about half of what David's Bridal would've charged.
